ABOUT KATE
Ysabelle Caitlin Holden MIT set up the clinic to treat hair and scalp conditions with an evidence-based approach that focuses on prioritising each individual's health and wellbeing.
She is a full member of the Institute of Trichologists. She has first-hand experience of hair loss, having managed Trichotillomania since she was a teenager. Kate is also a qualified hairdresser and is currently studying for an MSc in nutrition to give patients a holistic approach to their hair and scalp conditions.
She knows how hair loss and scalp conditions often really affect self-esteem and confidence. Many of her patients come to find their way forward, after years of frustration trying to seek treatment. She provides patients a warm and open environment that allows them space to feel heard and to understand their condition.
Her clinic offers diagnosis of hair and scalp conditions, therapeutic recommendations and treatments, and nutrition advice. When needed, she offers referrals to appropriate medical specialists, diagnostic testing, and support throughout further referrals and treatment.
